The Hamilton County Artists’ Association (HCAA) is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Midwest Juried Art Exhibit, March 1 – March 31, 2023. This fine art competition is open to artists 18 years and older who are residents of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin. Each entrant may submit up to three (3) works, which must be: original works of art created within the last two (2) years, not completed under instruction, and not have won any awards at any other juried competition. Accepted mediums include: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, charcoal, pencil, ink, and mixed media. No digital art or photography. Entry fee: $30 for non HCAA members. There is a $1000 prize for Best of Show, in addition other smaller awards in multiple categories.
All works must be submitted via the electronic application by February 1. Entries will not be considered complete until payment has been made. Entrants will be notified of acceptance by email by February 10.
