ARTWORK INFORMATION

There are multiple locations in and around the arena for artwork. There are exterior possibilities at two major entrances, and interior possibilities on walls, floors, and in the atrium. Because of the association with a sports arena, artwork will represent the University's Panthers mascot.

Ideas could include figurative panthers, a panther cave/den, or water features. The University is open to new ideas that an artist may propose that would resonate with fans and engage students and visitors. Artwork should fit within the values of the University. The promise to students is “At High Point University, every student receives an extraordinary education in an inspiring environment with caring people.” These artworks should impact the inspiring environment piece of this statement. Each piece should uniquely impact and “wow” students, families, fans, and visitors.

There are 3 different site opportunities in both the interior and exterior of the building. The artwork will need to be themed around the Panther mascot and maintain the values of the University.
