Hobnobben Film Festival Seeks Film Entries

At Hobnobben Film Festival, they aim to champion unique and diverse storytellers. Their 6th annual festival will be held October 15-17, 2021, by Cinema Center, a 501c3 nonprofit arthouse theater, located in the downtown Fort Wayne arts district. Cinema Center’s mission is to provide unique opportunities to explore our world through the art of film, and Hobnobben allows you the opportunity to do this – like whoa.

They soldiered on with their 5th annual film festival amidst a global pandemic thanks to many amazing community partners and sponsors. They screened some outstanding films and had some important discussions. They look forward to being able to engage with even more people in October 2021!

Fort Wayne is a great place to live, a great place to visit and a great place to have a film festival – they take their filmmaker hospitality seriously and want everyone to feel welcome and heard. Any selected filmmakers in attendance will receive two VIP filmmaker passes to the festival, free of charge.

Diversity: Need it. Want it. Gotta have it. No seriously, the stories they tell and who tells them matter. They want to hear as many voices as possible. They don’t have an international category, for example, because they want to see international submissions in ALL our categories.

Proceeds from the festival go toward supporting, maintaining and programming Fort Wayne’s nonprofit arthouse movie theater, Cinema Center.
