IDADA First In Line
Call for Artists
The Indianapolis Downtown Artists and Dealers Association (IDADA) is preparing for the 10th annual First In Line Art Exhibition, our key fundraising event for the year.
This year’s show and sale will take place at the Art Bank gallery, 811 Mass. Ave, Friday, October 28th, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Remaining works will be for sale during regular Art Bank hours through Sunday, October 30th, at 4pm.
The call is open to all artists and supporters who want to donate original works of art in any artistic medium. Artists do not have to be members of IDADA. During the event, all work will be priced at $100.00, and available to visitors and buyers on a first come/first serve basis, beginning at 6pm. (The artwork may be viewed earlier, but no sales will be conducted until 6pm).
Contributing artists may donate 50% or 100% of the proceeds from the sale of his/her work. All unsold work will be returned to the artist. All proceed donated to IDADA will support the general operating fund. IDADA uses these funds to directly serve the local Indianapolis visual arts community. Drop-off/Pick-up Dates
Donating artists should drop off their work at the Art Bank on Wednesday, October 26th from 1:00-8:00pm or Thursday, October 27th, from 1:00-5:00pm. Please have work ready to hang, with appropriate (sturdy) hardware in place (wire, cleat, etc.) Please notify in advance for special exhibition needs but please be prepared to provide a pedestal for sculptures. Unsold work will be picked up between Wednesday, November 2nd and Thursday, November 3rd, during Art Bank operating hours of 1:00-8:00pm. Please limit works submitted to no more than three per artist and no larger than 24” x 36.”

When submitting your work, please complete two copies of the following information for each work of art donated. Attach one copy to the back of the work and submit the other copy upon drop off of your work. Thank you for participating in one of the most anticipated art events of the season!
