Call for Artists
Finding the Urban Wild
Deadline: Thursday, June 1st
The Indiana Forest Alliance and the Indiana Interchurch Center invite your submissions for a non-juried art exhibition: Finding the Urban Wild. The exhibition will be on display at the Interchurch Center Art Gallery at 1100 W. 42nd Street from June 29 – July 28, 2017
The Theme: What’s our relationship to urban green space? How do plants, trees, and forests make our city and our neighborhoods what they are, and contribute to their character? What views, memories or experiences of trees will you capture in photos, paint, clay, fabric, or other materials? How do we picture what trees mean to people, in public city spaces, in the intimacy of our backyards, or somewhere in the margins?
