Indiana Treasurer of State Seeks Artwork for Statehouse Office

The Office of the Indiana State Treasurer is requesting submissions from Indiana artists for exhibition at the Indiana State Treasurer’s Office, located at the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis. The office is open to the public.

The Indiana State Treasurer is one of five constitutional offices and has broad responsibilities and authority in the areas of investment and finance. Daniel Elliott serves as the 56th Treasurer of State, the fifth highest-ranking statewide government official. The Treasurer is elected statewide every four years. In addition to being the State’s chief investment officer and banker, the Treasurer serves as chairperson or a member of numerous State boards, commissions and authorities.

Submissions will be reviewed and selected by staff of the Indiana State Treasurer’s Office. There is no theme.

Artwork must be 2D and framed (if appropriate), wired, and ready to hang. Artwork should be a minimum of 11″ x 14″ and maximum of 36″ x 36″ or 30″ x 40″.

All Indiana artists over the age of 18 are welcome to submit.

Work must be delivered to the Indiana State Treasurer’s Office by May 10, 2023 and picked up within a week of the close of the exhibition.
