Indy Arts Council is central Indiana’s leading arts advocacy and services agency. Our mission is to nurture a culture where artists and arts organizations thrive. The Indianapolis Artsgarden, owned and operated by the Indy Arts Council, hosts 300+ events and public performances every year.
Request for Proposals
The Indy Arts Council is seeking proposals for public programming in the Indianapolis Artsgarden from May through October 2024. Proposals must engage central Indiana-based curators and artists and be free, open to the public, and appropriate for all audiences. Including but not limited to performances, visiting artist talks, panel discussions, exhibitions, participatory activities (dance, yoga, artmaking, etc.), live podcasting, artisan markets, open mics, and more! Accepted proposals will be scheduled in consideration with the overall Artsgarden calendar.

Project Budget
Total budget is $30,000, estimating approximately $5,000 per month (May through October) to support a series of events each month. Proposals can range from $5,000 for one month of programming, up to $30,000 for up to six months of programming. Multiple proposals may be funded.
