Interdisciplinary Learning Workshop with Dr. Robert Sabol

The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette invites K-12 area teachers of all disciplines to a workshop on Interdisciplinary Learning to learn to better integrate art into their lesson plans. After an initial introduction to concepts, standards and materials, the teachers will break into groups for work sessions, which will include brainstorming and sharing of ideas.
Teachers are asked to bring a lesson or unit plan and a laptop to the workshop. At the end of the workshop, the teachers will take home an art integrated lesson or unit plan.
Lunch will be served and in addition to resources for future use, teachers will receive a National Visual Arts Standards Poster particular to their grade level and professional growth points will be awarded. The cost of this workshop is $25, Registration is limited to 30 teachers.
