Directed by Iris Rosa, Seda Negra/Black Silk Dance Company utilizes a fusion of dance genres, styles and expressions to tell stories and explore political, social and cultural narratives, as well as the lived experiences of people in the African Diaspora.

Auditions will include a class and short combination led by director Iris Rosa. The director will be focusing on expression and storytelling through your movement. No need to prepare a routine—come ready to dance, express, and share with the company.
