WHAT — Kirklin Main Street is pleased to announce the ninth annual art fair, featuring the works of Central Indiana artists. Each item for display and/or sale must be the participating artist’s original creation and production for which the artist owns exclusive rights. Mechanically and mass-produced copies of originals must be displayed as such. Working exhibits are welcome and encouraged.
SHOW HOURS — 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
STANDARDS — It is the intent of the Kirklin Main Street to host an event that celebrates area artists and their high-quality, original works that visitors of all ages can enjoy. Art pieces that feature subject matter of a violent, sexual and obscene nature will not be welcome at the Kirklin Art Fair, and the event sponsor reserves the right to reject content that it considers explicitly inappropriate.
BOOTH SPACE & LOCATION — Artists will be allotted a 100 square feet (10 feet x 10 feet) space. The location of the artist’s space will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis during setup, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., the day of the event. Each exhibitor is expected to provide his/her own setup, not to exceed 10 feet x 10 feet. More than one adjoining booth space may be purchased if available.
FEES — A $20 fee will be assessed per 10 feet x 10 feet space, payable when the artist’s application is submitted. The fee is nonrefundable, unless Kirklin Main Street deems the artist’s works unacceptable.
HOW TO APPLY — Complete the online application form and submit payment by mail with the $20 registration fee to: Kirklin Art Fair P.O. Box 252 Kirklin, IN 46050 or by Paypal @ paypal.me/kirklinmainstreet Please include photos (or JPEGs sent to email@example.com or Kirklin Main Street, P.O. 252, Kirklin, IN 46050) of three examples of your work that you plan to exhibit at the fair. The application fee may be paid by paypal, cash or check payable to Kirklin Main Street. Deadline for receipt of registration and payment is June 9, 2023.
LIABILITY — Kirklin Main Street is not responsible or liable for injury, theft, loss or damage to property before, during or after the art fair’s hours. Exhibitors are responsible for the security and safety of their works at all times.
OTHER — ● Participating artists must be 18 years of age and over. ● Participants are responsible for setting up their exhibit spaces between 8 and 9:30 a.m. June 24, 2023, and for cleaning up their exhibit space after the show closes at 4 p.m. ● Participants are responsible for providing their own furnishings, supplies and materials. ● Kirklin Main Street reserves the right to remove unsuitable artwork. ● The fair will not be canceled, suspended, or postponed due to inclement weather.
