LFE Adventure Producer Paul W Nethercott is pleased to announce the 6th annual trip to Europe for emerging US based filmmakers. If selected, you will have the opportunity to go on a grand adventure to attend Summer Media Studio (SMS) — an exceptional film camp in Lithuania. Led by Inesa Kurklietytė, a prominent multi-award winning Lithuanian film director and academic, SMS is a university level program accredited by the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Cost: The anticipated cost is $2,200/person. Included: SMS tuition; travel insurance; food and housing during SMS; film equipment; round trip airfare from O’Hare or some other major airport; housing and primary travel in Lithuania before and after SMS. Not included: travel between your home and departure airport; passport fee; meals before and after SMS; spending money; cost of cancellation (if a refund is not possible); Covid tests, if required.
Schedule: ★March 14: Application Deadline ★March 28th: Deposit of $100.00 due ★April 14: Airfare payment deadline (between $800 – $1,300) ★May 14: Balance due (the exact amount will be known after I hear how much the SMS fee will be this year, and after I book housing and transportation in Lithuania) ★Travel Dates: Likely departure on June 19 & return on July 6 (the exact dates will be known after international travel is booked) ★June 23-July 5: SMS 2023 dates
