Press Release:

The Greencastle Arts Council in collaboration with the Putnam County Museum would like to announce the LOCALITY: A Visual Arts Exhibition, highlighting the best of local artists. The exhibition will be opened at the Putnam County Museum at the end of June (2020) and will be on display throughout the months of July and August. An artists’ reception is planned for the end of the exhibition, with the understanding that this artists’ celebration can be postponed to necessarily abide by federal, state, and local public guidelines and health recommendations.

We would like to encourage and support the arts in our local community by highlighting the best of local 2-D and 3-D artists. We are seeking adult amateur or professional artists to apply for this exhibition if they were born, living, working, or educated in Putnam County (IN).  Selected artists will compete for multiple awards totaling a minimal of $600, and for an Award-Winning Artists’ interview that will be circulated in our quarterly newsletter and on other GAC and/or PCM communication platforms.
