Join the Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award on Saturday, October 13, at Central Library for Meet an Author, Be an Author, a day devoted to Indiana's talented writers. Presented in partnership with The Indianapolis Public Library and the Indiana Writers Center, the event includes book signings, author panels, writing workshops and more. All activities and events are free, so booklovers of all ages have accessible opportunities to meet and learn from local authors and grow as writers themselves.
A highlight of the day is the Indy Author Fair in Central Library's historic Simon Reading Room. More than 40 authors receive table space to meet the public, network with other authors and promote their books. Authors will have the opportunity to sell their books, but it is not the focus of the event.
