Position Description:
This position announcement is for Arts Strategic Funding & Initiatives Manager (AS Mgr) - Arts Commission, a full-time Civil Service position in Metro Arts Commission. This position leads the strategic funding programs and initiatives of the Metro Nashville Arts Commission. The Strategic Funding & Initiatives Manager directly oversees the administration and evaluation of public grants, individual artist funding, racial equity and diversity initiatives, and other community programs and initiatives that expand the mission of Metro Arts to drive a vibrant and equitable community through the arts. This position serves on the organization's executive leadership team, manages the Strategic Initiatives and Funding team, and works closely with the Executive Director on the development of strategic plans, projects and initiatives that support the agency's mission.
