Workshop Schedule:

Part I: Finding Your Voice

You are the only person with your unique qualities. You must learn how to dance with fear and find the courage to express what is inside of you. If you do, magical things will happen. You define who you are. You tell the world who you are. You learn how to share the art that is inside of you. By finding your voice you make the world a better place.

Part II: Story Structure

Lisa will introduce the traditional three part story structure. What is it and why is it important? Paul Nethercott will show his short film GRATEFUL as an example of traditional three part storytelling. The group will analyze the structure of GRATEFUL and discuss the impact of the film. Stories change the teller and the listener.

Part III: LUNCH BREAK (At a nearby restaurant for lunch and a time of relaxed networking)

Part IV: Writing a story

Lisa Maydwell will guide the group through the process of writing a story. Every participant will create a story that can be used to move your vision forward.

Part IV: Sharing your story with the group

The closing session will primarily be a time of sharing our stories. Everyone will be enriched as participants share their stories with the group. Stories change the world!
