In their monthly gallery shows, Nickel Plate Arts welcomes submissions from artists throughout Central Indiana. Preference is given to those in or connected to the six communities along the 30-mile historic Nickel Plate Railroad in eastern Hamilton County.
Celebrate your inner child in March and April as Nickel Plate Arts explores the fresh, innovative energy of youth! Enjoy the in-person exhibit in March and April, and don’t miss an online exhibit of art by Noblesville Elementary students! This exhibit is open to all ages. Adult artists are encouraged to submit artwork that examines the experience of childhood. Child artists are encouraged to exhibit the best piece of work they’ve made in the past year.
TO SUBMIT: Use the form on this page to submit up to 3 pieces for consideration no later than February 26th. I you have difficulty with the form, please submit your information to Les Reinhardt at Lreinhardt@nickelplatearts.org
NOTE: All artwork must be ready to hang or display. For 2D items, our preference is for each piece to be framed or have finished (gallery-wrapped edges) and to have a strong wire hasp that spans the back of the item. For 3D pieces, items must be fully finished, sturdy and ready to display on a pedestal, ledge or table – Nickel Plate Arts does not have vitrines or glass display cases. If you need help preparing your item or have questions, please contact Les.
