An Exhibit by the Equine Art Guild
Nickel Plate Arts 107 South 8th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060
Entry deadline is July 20, 2018. Artwork and entry fee must be delivered to Nickel Plate Arts between July 26-27, 2018, from 12pm and 5pm, or Saturday, July 28, 2018, 10am-5pm. You, or someone representing you, must deliver your art in person. Nickel Plate Arts will not accept artwork mailed in.
Dates and Times of the Exhibit
August 1, 2018 through September 1, 2018. Wednesday-Friday, 12pm – 5pm Saturdays, 10am-5pm. Closed Sunday, through Tuesday. All artwork will be taken down on September 1, 2018. Artists’ Reception on August 3, 2018 from 6-9pm.
Paintings, Drawings, Photography, Mixed Media, Sculpture, Ceramics depicting horses, mules, donkeys, burros.
Artists may enter a maximum of three works. All 2D work must be ready to hang with wire (no saw tooth hangers). Paint must be dry.
Entry fee is $35 for up to three pieces of work, paid to the Equine Art Guild. Nickel Plate Arts receives 20% on items sold through the gallery. Checks are mailed out after exhibit closes. Artists are required to fill out a W9 when dropping off art.
An artist’s reception will be held on August 3, 2018 from 6-9pm. Refreshments will be served and live entertainment by musician, Steve Newby. Each artist is encouraged to attend the reception. This is your opportunity to connect with collectors.
A pop up art sale option is available during the opening reception on August 3, 2018. Participating artists provide their own tent to show and sell more of their art. Reproductions are acceptable. The fee for this is $25 payable to Nickel Plate Arts. Nickel Plate Arts also earns 20% on all sales.
Publicity Promotions will be provided by and to the following:
Nickel Plate Arts Newsletter, Equine Art Guild Facebook page, Equine related business (i.e. tack and feed shops, veterinarians, boarding and training facilities, riding clubs), Noblesville Magazine.Each artist is encouraged to post to their own Facebook pages, blogs, websites, as well as their local newspapers. Downloadable announcements will be available in future emails.
Return of Artwork
Artwork will be available for pickup beginning Saturday, September 1, 2018 10am-5pm, Wednesday through Friday, September 5-7, 2017 12pm-5pm, and Saturday, September 8, 2018 10am-5pm.
