The Oilwick is hosting a charity event called Pints for Pups, benefiting the Freedom K9 Project. The Freedom K9 Project helps to pair therapy dogs with survivors of sex trafficking and domestic abuse to help cope with PTSD.

If you cannot attend but would still like to donate, or would like to check out their page, here is a link

There will be pint glasses for sale to the public the night of the event. With the purchase of your pint glass, you will receive one free pint of beer. You can also purchase beer provided by their beer vendor (TBD)

How you can help:
Artists:
Please make/ design/ create up to 5 pint glasses that will then be sold the night of the event. Price your work as you normally would. 50% of the proceeds will go to Freedom K9 Project, while the other 50% goes to the artist. You may also choose to donate the entire proceeds. Pint glasses can be altered from already made glasses, ceramics, sculpture, or any medium you choose so long as it is foodsafe and holds a pint of beer.

If you are a 2D artist, they’ll also be hosting an event about 2 weeks prior to the event for a collaboration. Ceramic artists will submit bisqued work, and 2D artists can paint them. The proceeds from these pints will then be 100% donated to Freedom K9 Project. This event is on May 19th and 20th from 12-5pm, at The Oilwick  (1604 Deloss st)

They’re also looking for musicians, and any other sort of entertainment for the evening as well as raffle items. If you would like to help, please email Alexa directly at rumplewillowceramics@gmail.com
