Primary Colours at the Athenaeum
CALL FOR ARTISTS
Exhibition General Application Guidelines

Primary Gallery is accepting submissions for their show running March 3rd, 2017 through March 31st, 2017.

Proposals will be accepted from now through February 24th, 2017.

Local artists are encouraged to submit a proposal for the group exhibition by sending a complete artist’s packet to:
The Anthenaeum
401 East Michigan Street

And via the following Primary Colours Emails:

Artist’s proposal should include the following items in an email :

• 3-5 Images of individual work which may include details
• Artist Statement
• Resumé with contact information
• Sketches and Bio may be included if applicable
• Artwork to be included in the exhibition should be current; i.e. created within the last three years. As a gallery that strives to exhibit quality, contemporary art, we strongly discourage exhibiting art previously shown within the last 5 years.

All proposals shall be given equal consideration, and will be reviewed by a committee.

If selected, all artists will be expected to drop off and help hang their work at the Athenaeum on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 6-8pm. Failure to do so will remove you from the exhibition.
