Print Project Seeks Artists and Designers

Artists and Designers to be featured in print project

Cat Head Press (CHP) is looking for 10 Marion County emerging artists/designers to be featured in a collaborative print project.  Each artist will work with CHP to design a unique image to be printed as a limited edition. Artists will choose what type of product they want their work to be printed on, for example, t-shirts, tote bags, bandanas etc.

Artists will receive a $200 payment for their design and valuable exposure and support through Cat Head Press. Artists will also receive valuable insight into the versatility and significance of the printmaking process in supporting and supplementing their art practice. All proceeds of sales of the printed material will go to support the community educational programming CHP offers. After all works are printed, CHP will hold a free exhibition event open to the community to showcase and celebrate all of the artists’ work. Artists do not need any experience in printmaking, as all printing will be the responsibility of CHP.

This project is made possible by The Create Indy Fund, a grant from the City of Indianapolis Cultural Initiatives Fund a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation. To find out more about Cat Head Press visit catheadpress.com
