Artists are sought for public art for two sites (one interior, one exterior) at the College of Pharmacy and Health Professions at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, a land-grant historically Black college (HBCU) located in Princess Anne, MD.
BUDGET: Interior project (3-story atrium): $175,000; exterior project (entrance plazas and sidewalks): $85,000
ELIGIBILITY: Professional artists over 18 residing in the United States
DEADLINE: November 24, 2020
Some suggested topics and concepts that may inspire the artwork include:
Three semi-finalists will be invited to make proposals for each location. Each semi-finalist artist or artist team will receive a $2,500 stipend to develop a
proposal.
