Sugar Creek Art Center is seeking professional sculptors and artisans that work in wood, metal, stone, ceramics and additional 3D materials for free standing installation in their beautiful galleries in Thorntown, Indiana.
Established as an art center in 2005, SCAC is in the heart of rural West Central Indiana half way between Indianapolis and Lafayette off I 65 North and SR 47 West. SCAC provides an eclectic venue for diverse exhibitions on a monthly rotation. The facility includes a gift shop, artists rental studios, a large event area, a resident artists gallery, a textile gallery, a featured artists gallery, a guest artists gallery, a gallery devoted to unframed works on paper and the permanent Bob Gillan Gallery. SCAC is open Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am- 5:00 pm, Second Sundays from 1:00 – 5:00 pm and First Thursdays for receptions from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. They are closed on all major holidays and throughout the month of January.
