Seeking Proposals for Art/Artist Space in Fountain Square

Harold Lee Miller, artist and commercial photographer based in Indianapolis, is seeking proposals for use of the building at 2119 Prospect Street in Fountain Square.  Open to shared workspace ideas, gallery, artist workspaces, artist co-op, artist or performance event venue, pretty much anything arts-related or socially beneficial.

The building is being renovated -- a new facade is being designed now -- and will be ready for its new life soon.   The ground floor has about 3,600 square feet, the second floor about 3000 square feet.  Parking on-site.

If you are an artist looking for studio space, wish to open a new gallery, or have an idea you want to discuss, email beterrific@sbcglobal.net.  Miller will locate his photography studio in this space and share it with other photographers and artists, or there may be some other good use for it.  Miller is open to ideas.

This building is located in the east Fountain Square neighborhood.  This area has just begun the process of being improved, with new homes being built and new businesses locating here.  His vision is to create a use for it that engages in some way with the greater community, or is more of a communal use than individual.
