Artists and Artisans Call-Out: Spark!Fishers Art Fair

Talented fine artists and artisans are invited to apply for the 2019 Spark!Fishers Art Fair. The Art Fair will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 8 a.m.-Noon alongside the weekly Fishers Farmers Market. The Art Fair and Farmers Market kicks off Spark!Fishers, the well-publicized community festival that is expected to draw well over a thousand shoppers that morning.

Each of the 20 participating artists and artisans will receive an 8’ table and a chair to display and sell their work inside a large tent. The art fair takes place outdoors in the city center, adjacent to the Fishers amphitheater and home of the large farmers’ market. The June 29 event will be the first art fair held in Fishers’ Nickel Plate District since it received a designation as a Statewide Cultural District from the Indiana Arts Commission.

The application deadline to participate in the art fair is Tuesday, January 31, 2019. To apply, visit www.sparkfishers.com/vendors-2 and submit the online Spark!Fishers Participant Application. In the application, please select “Street Fair or Artisan Market Vendor.” Also, select “Saturday Morning” only for your availability.

Your application indicates your interest. In February, you will contacted and asked to submit additional details and images of your work for the jury to consider. Special consideration will be given to Fishers residents. All applicants will be notified of their final participation status in March.

The fee to participate in the Art Fair as a juried artist or artisan is $100. The event takes place rain or shine on and no Wi-Fi is available from the Art Fair site.
