Stevens Point Sculpture Park Seeks Sculpture for Loan

The Stevens Point Sculpture Park, located in central Wisconsin, is accepting submissions of sculpture work for their annual, three-year outdoor sculpture exhibition. A local jury will choose pieces for display from August 2018 through August 2021.

Budget:  $1,500 for a 3-year loan

Eligibility:  Artists working in the United States

Deadline:  May 25, 2018

Exhibition Calendar

• May 25, 2018 - Submissions Due
• June 15, 2018 - Notification of works selected (by email/phone with follow-up contract)
• July 2, 2018 - Contracts Due
• August 1 - August 31, 2018 - Sculpture Installation
• September 22, 2018 - Celebration (Opening Reception)
• August 2021 - Artists Pick Up Work

A wide variety of work will be considered, including: site specific work, ephemeral and/or permanent work, work in a variety of scales, art with a performance component, proposed not yet built projects etc. Materials and scale must be appropriate for an outdoor environmental location.

Sculpture submissions must be self supporting; foundations or bases are not provided.

Delivery, installation, and return of work are the artist’s responsibility.  Describe your installation process and identify your needs in your proposal.

1. Complete the application form located here. Form must be filled out completely. Unfinished or incomplete submission will not be considered.
2. Submit photographs and support documents via email to pointsculpturepark@hotmail.com, by 3pm on May 25. Please put your name in the subject line. (Note: Total attachments per email should NOT exceed 10MB. If needed, send multiple emails with attachments.)
