Teachers Needed for Fall After School Arts Program

Tippecanoe Arts Federation Seeks Teachers for their 2018 Fall After School Arts Program classes

ABOUT THE AFTER SCHOOL ARTS PROGRAM
The After School Arts Program (ASAP) provides equitable and enhanced access to the arts to children in grades K-12. ASAP offers free classes covering the full spectrum of creative disciplines including the visual, performing, literary, and culinary arts. ASAP aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in our community, reinforce academics, improve self-esteem, and inspire creativity.

BE AN ASAP INSTRUCTOR!
Instructors in the ASAP program are compensated between $15-20 per hour of instruction plus an allotted fee for planning and preparation. On average, teaching artists will be in the classroom for 6-8 weekly sessions varying from 45 minutes to 1.5 hour in length.

They would love to hear your ideas for classes! If you need inspiration, you can visit the ASAP website to see what types of classes were recently offered by the program.

HOW TO APPLY
Interested artists should contact Ann Fields Monical at coo@tippecanoearts.org to set up a quick in-person meeting or phone conference to talk about your interest and the application process.
