Title: Assistant Artistic Director - Lyric Choir
Time: Wednesday rehearsals from 4 - 6 p.m.
Commitment: Other times as needed
Compensation: $150/ month for 10 months (August - May)
Accountability: Assistant Director is supervised by the Artistic Director
Responsibilities:
- Teach the Lyric Choir basic singing skills
- Direct Lyric Choir rehearsals and performances
- Assist with combined rehearsals as needed.
- Set up room prior to rehearsal
- Develop camaraderie among Lyric Choir singers
- Communicate with the Artistic Director any needs or concerns regarding the Lyric Choir
- Communicate with the Administrative Assistant on issues relating to attendance or music/folders
- Supervise the Lyric Choir for safety and behavioral concerns at all rehearsals and performances
