The 500 Festival is seeking a chalk artist to work on May 11th, 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (ish). The artist will be paid a $350 fee.
For the 500 Festival Kids Day, the 500 Festival is looking for an artist that can do fun basic chalk art designs that kids will be interested in while they also draw with chalk around them.
Kids Day is a free day of play for all kids where Monument Circle is turned into a carnival and filled with all types of vendors. The idea is to have an artist in a stanchioned area who will draw fun designs for attendees to watch and also have an open space in the same area for kids to draw on the street for fun.
