Call for submissions for February-March exhibit at the Archivist Studios and Shoppe:
What is a matter of the heart? What is the heart of the matter? Are you young at heart? Do they have a heart of gold? What is your heart’s desire? This is not for the faint of heart. Wear your heart on your sleeve. Be it light hearted or heavy hearted, put your heart on the line and show what is the matter of the heart. Seeking visual artwork in all mediums - mostly 2-D with room for some 3-D.
Exhibit will open February 10 with a reception that evening. The show will remain up through March. Deadline for submissions is January 20, 2023. Artwork is due ready to install with appropriate hardware February 1.
Please note that there is no fee to submit. The Archivist does basic promotion for the show with the hope that artists will also help promote, provides light refreshments for the opening, and keeps regular gallery hours. The gallery commission on sales is 30%.
