The Arts Federation Seeks Vendors for Holiday Art Sale

The Arts Federation presents the 4th Annual Holiday Art Sale December 2 – December 16, 2022. This annual two-week sale showcases the work of regional artists and gives the community a chance to shop for gifts in a relaxed environment.

Interested artists can apply to be a Holiday Art Sale vendor using this online form. Applications for the 2022 sale are due November 4 at 5:00 p.m. (EST). Please read the guidelines below before you submit an application.

  • The Arts Federation (TAF) will host a Holiday Art Sale to showcase the work of regional artists and promote shopping locally during the holiday season. All displayed works must be for sale.
  • In conjunction with the exhibition, TAF will host several special events including a holiday ornament workshop and gallery reception.
  • There is no application fee, but there will be a $20 Participation Fee after the artist has been juried into the show to cover promotional and coordination costs of the exhibition.
  • TAF will process all sales and take a 20% commission of the purchase price. TAF also will take care of collecting and paying sales tax.
  • Displayed artwork may be any 2-D or 3-D media, and all work must be created by the exhibiting artist. Reproductions such as prints or postcards of your work are acceptable as long as the original imagery was created by you. Wall, pedestal, and table space will be available.

It is likely that most applications will be accepted. However, should space requirements dictate, TAF will select artists to participate based on: a. the artistic quality and level of craftsmanship presented in the work samples; and, b. the artists’ professionalism and prior involvement with TAF.

TAF will only accept and approve:

  • Submissions from current TAF members;
  • Artworks that are original in content (e.g. no copyrighted images from other artists);
  • Artworks created by the artist; and
  • Artwork that is suitable for public display.

Artists are required to setup of their work in the show. Details will be provided to all selected artists.
Specific guidelines and instructions of artwork preparation will be given to all selected artists in early November.
