Request for Qualifications: Tippecanoe Arts Federation seeks artists and arts organizations for Visiting Artist Program

The Tippecanoe Arts Federation is seeking qualified artists and arts organizations to provide dynamic arts instruction through its Visiting Artist Program (VAP). Artists will be paired with a school, library, or community center in Region 4 (Tippecanoe, Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Newton, Montgomery, Pulaski, Tipton, Warren, and White Counties).

Exchanges will take place September 2017-June 2018. Up to $2,500.00 per project is available for artist fees and supplies. All disciplines, including visual, performing, and music arts are welcome to apply. Artists and arts organizations can submit qualifications HERE through Tuesday, June 13 (5:00 P.M. EDT).

VAP enhances accessibility to arts education by pairing artists with undeserved communities in Region 4. Artists provide engaging instruction for students in grades K-12. The goals of the program are:

  • To increase access to quality arts instruction for youths in grades K-12 in Region 4
  • To develop relationships between artists, young people, and communities in Region 4
  • To elevate the relevancy of art making, in its diverse forms, in Region 4 communities
