University of Indianapolis Seeks Assistant Professor in Art & Design

The Art & Design Department at the University of Indianapolis seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor in Art & Design.  This is a full-time, tenure track, nine-month faculty position.

This position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate Graphic Design and Illustration courses as a part of a NASAD-accredited Bachelor of Science degree program. Teaching requirements could consist of courses in Design Fundamentals of Typography and Image, Narrative and Systems, Branding, Motion Design, Interaction Design, and advanced courses including managing internships.

The University of Indianapolis is a teaching-centered institution that also values service to the Department, College, and University. Service in the department includes but is not limited to student advising, portfolio reviews, management of the Mac computer labs, department events and exhibitions, etc. The ideal candidate will value collaboration and work well collaboratively.
