Ready for a giant, wild, risk-taking leap?

Want to run with a crazy, creative crowd?

Can't resist free shows and cheap beer?

You will be the lifeblood of the 12-day, 3-weekend Fringe festival. The festival is held in 5 venues on Mass Avenue at the end of August and in early September. By volunteering for IndyFringe you will help everything run smoothly and on time. That is so important because there are only 30 minutes between each and every show. Volunteers are the key to keeping the festival running smoothly.

Free Shows, Cheap Beer

By volunteering with IndyFringe you can earn free tickets, so you can experience all the daring, funky, exciting shows that make the festival great! Then go refresh yourself with discounts at The Beer Tent.

And since everything's better with friends, sign-up with a group, perhaps your book club or neighbors, and spend a day on the fringe on Massachusetts Avenue.

New volunteers can create an account via the Volunteer Application Form

2021 Indy Fringe Festival Volunteers
The 2021 Indy Fringe Festival is August 19-22, August 26-29, and September 2-5.

Each volunteer will need to attend an orientation in late July or early August. There will be several orientation dates available on Zoom and in person.

There are over 250 performances during the 12-day festival and we need all hands on deck. There is room for everyone to volunteer.

IndyFringes needs volunteers for:

  • Box Office
  • Usher/Greeter
  • Bartender – must-have beverage permit
  • Each Venue is staffed with a theater captain and they are so excited to work with you as are we as a team!
