Wabash Walls is a mural festival in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a collaborative effort among the City of Lafayette, the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lafayette, the Wabash Avenue Neighborhood Association, and the Tippecanoe County Public Library. The deadline for this opportunity is April 15, 2019 at 4 pm ET.

Project Description
This is a paid public art opportunity for qualified artists to create a piece of public art. Supplies will be purchased by TAF and is independent from the artist stipend.

Architectural, Aesthetic Considerations
The design must be suitable and acceptable for public display for viewing by citizens of all ages.

Artist Eligibility
A successful candidate will execute the artwork in two weeks or less. The artist must commit to a minimum of two community workshops, community participation, ability to talk about their artwork publicly, and be present for the dedication of the artwork upon finish. Artists must be able to independently operate an articulated lift, scissor lift, and assemble scaffolding.

    I am interested in participating in the mural event. Can you please send further details? Specifically, what dates do you need artists to commit to? How much is the stipend? How much credit are artists allowed for supplies? Thank you!
