Dancers ages 6-18 are invited to audition for student roles in Central Indiana Dance Ensemble’s production of The Nutcracker. Dancers should have at least one year ballet experience. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time to register. Selected dancers must commit to attending Saturday afternoon rehearsals September - December. There will be evening technical rehearsals December 9th and 10th. Performance dates are December 11-13th.
Audition Schedule:
1:00 pm Registration
1:30-2:00 pm 6-7 year olds (Levels 1 & 2)
2:00-2:30 pm 8-10 year olds (Levels 3A & 3B)
2:30-3:00 pm 11-12 year olds (Levels 4 & 5)
3:00-3:30 pm Clara (Must be 4’8”-5’2”, on pointe preferred)
3:30-4:30 pm 13 & up (Levels 6 & above)
$10 audition fee (cash only) for non-CIDE company members
Please note that missing two rehearsals will result in recasting
If there is a discrepancy between age and level, CIAoD dancers should audition at their level.
