Exploring Cultural Memory Through Papel Picado by Beatriz Vasquez

Program Description

Bring master contemporary papercutting artist Beatriz Vasquez to your classroom to help your students learn cultural awareness skills through Papel Picado, a Mexican folk art! In this workshop students will safely and effectively learn diverse cut techniques and terminology, how to utilize cultural memory, and how art is used for activism.

Arts for Learning would very much like to discuss rescheduling, before cancelling. Partial payment may be necessary depending on when the decision to cancel is made.
