17th Annual April Show

Fabulous art show that features artists who have overcome great adversity.

To celebrate the artistic spirit and to recognize its ability to overcome all manner of barriers, such as homelessness, poverty, and illness… To build a community event utilizing the voluntary passions of that community, eschewing traditional external funding sources and other modes of "paid altruism"… To bring together people and art representing a wide variety of backgrounds and origins – in other words, to assemble folks who likely would not otherwise have the opportunity to meet in a setting to which they would likely not otherwise have experience have been exposed.
