A Bottle Poppin' Painting Party

Come discover your inner artist at A Bottle Poppin’ Painting Party, hosted by February’s Featured Artist Sarah Rae Cote. Admission is $25 per person and includes two glasses of refreshment, light snacks, and all supplies needed for the artwork. Attendance is limited to 30 people.

Sarah Rae Cote is an energetic young artist with deep local ties, both in the arts community and in Indianapolis proper. She strives to create new realities with her work to bring joy to her audience. Her work blends elements of working from life, while also drawing from the subconscious, and sometimes borrowing from pop culture. She has taught quite a few classes in various forms of painting around the city and is determined to grow as a successful artist as she thrives on interacting with people. She says the idea of painting on a bottle should not feel intimidating.

“There’s a variety of bottles; some are wine; some are spirits,” Cote said. “All are whitewashed, so it leaves one with the curiosity of what it once held. Each bottle has a unique, sexy shape.”
