A Fair of the Heart: Valentine’s Night with the Museum of Broken Relationships Indianapolis

Come with a partner, friend, or just yourself. All hearts are welcome.

Stop by anytime between 6 to 9 p.m. and participate in the ongoing activities:

• Explore the Museum of Broken Relationships Indianapolis exhibit, which will be open for extended evening viewing.
• Learn creative journaling techniques during a Journey to the Center of Your Heart workshop, where you will reflect on past and present relationships, and set intentions for the future. Please bring your own journal or pad and a pen and paper.
• Get together for Learning Love, an experience-sharing workshop where pairs can explore communication skills and swap perspectives on shared relationship challenges.

Visitors can also participate in brief pop-up activities such as couples drawing, oracle card readings, and other surprises throughout the evening. Snacks will be served.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Berkshire, Reese and Paul Galleries of Eskenazi Hall.

Pre-registration via Eventbrite is encouraged and appreciated but not required.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

The Museum of Broken Relationships Indianapolis is a unique partnership between the IUPUI Museum Studies Program and the Museum of Broken Relationships. It will be on view in Eskenazi Hall’s Berkshire, Reese and Paul Galleries from Feb. 8 through April 22.

The exhibition is made possible by the Edgar and Dorothy Fehnel Chair in International Studies fund, the IU School of Liberal Arts, and the IUPUI Center for Service and Learning.
