Amy Reel: Colossal Portraits

3Mass Gallery is currently showing Amy Reel’s "Colossal Portraits," a series of larger-than-life portraits. Central Indiana artist, Amy Reel, spends her days at The Oaks Academy teaching and her nights in her studio creating 8-foot tall renderings of multi-cultural, multigenerational faces and finding ways to capture unique beauty. Reel says that one of her most significant influences is the creativity of children. The Oaks Academy seeks to serve children of diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds and that celebration of diversity certainly permeates Reel’s work. 3Mass Gallery is a contemporary art gallery focused on solo exhibitions of local indiana based artists. We are unique in that we donate 10% of each exhibition to a charity of the artist’s choice.
