Soaring melodies, enveloping harmonies and energizing rhythms will ignite your spirit as you hear words and music that transcend time: a chant by the 12th century abbess and composer Hildegard of Bingen, alongside the poetry of 12th century Sufi mystic Abu Abdillah Muhammad… voices from South Africa, Italy, and the United States… chants and songs on timeless themes by celebrated living composers, including Ysaye Maria Barnwell and Libby Larsen.
