APPEARANCE: The Self Concealed/Revealed Art Exhibition & Red Carpet Runway Event

The 10th West Gallery invites adults over 21 for our ONE night only event of visual arts and performance acts at APPEARANCE: The Self Concealed/Revealed Art Exhibition & Red Carpet Runway Event.  Come experience appearance-centric works by Jodie Bailey, John Ross, Eli Hart, Laura LaForge and other artists. Fashionista Jody DeFord will introduce Appearance Runway, featuring Bailey’s sculptural headdresses modeled by local tattoo and body art collectors. The Gallery will also feature a silent auction of designer handbags and shoes from Kate Spade, Coach, Michael Kors, and others, artistically embellished by local Indianapolis artists, with an after party to follow.  Adorn your SELF and make an APPEARANCE at 10th West Gallery.

Event Schedule

7:00pm – Our VIP guests will have access to the event in the Gallery, which includes a complimentary open bar and first viewing and purchase rights to our exhibition and silent auction items until 8:00pm.

8:00pm – General admission guests are welcome into the event, where multiple cash bars will be available and all guests welcome in the Gallery and the runway area featuring music by Bobby Stardust.

9:00pm – Our runway exhibition will begin, and will be nothing like you have seen before, featuring Indianapolis’s own Jody DeFord is our guest emcee.  VIP guests will have access to reserved seating, providing the best views for the runway exhibition.

9:45pm – Our silent auction closes and winners will be announced! gmail.com

10:00pm – The after party begins, with music throughout the runway exhibition and dance party wrapping up the event at 11:00pm.

Parking / Entrance information

Free guest parking is available at the northwest corner lot at 11th Street & Senate Avenue (with access from 11th Street) and at the southeast corner lot at 11th Street & Capitol Avenue (with access from Capitol Avenue). Street parking is also available. Special drive up drop-off at 10th West Gallery door for inclement weather.

Starting at 7 p.m., VIP guests will enter through the Gallery’s main entrance from the inside alley of the building off of Capitol Avenue just north of 10th Street. Then at 8 p.m., General admission will enter through the Gallery’s main entrance from the inside alley of the building off of Capitol Avenue just north of 10th Street.
