Come explore mythical animal symbolism from cultures around the world to use for inspiration to create your own animal artwork. For kids grades 3-5 and grades 6-8.
The week will be jam-packed with art experiences including designing and directing the blowing of a glass magical animal. Kids will investigate mosaic, fused, and cast glass as well as other materials for their works of art.
After interaction with local nonprofit organizations, the kids will also make a collaborative project that gives back to the community. This and all of the kids’ individual work will be displayed at a festive gallery opening for family and friends at the end of camp.
