Every month, we host ArtSpeak Presents: a FREE, long-form interview that aims to unpack stories behind some of Indy’s creative minds.

This September, we’re featuring Mariah Ivey: spoken word artist, MC, and vocalist for TribeSouL. Mariah is known for her outspoken lyricism, socially-conscious community involvement, and advocacy for inner peace and economic power. Mariah is also the host and founder of That PEACE Open Mic, a monthly open mic event at the Indianapolis Central Library.
