Film historian and preservationist Eric Grayson presents the last of a three month series of science fiction classics. For August, we feature the original 1956 black-and-white film, “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”, adapted from the 1954 novel, “The Body Snatchers”. Starring Kevin McCarthy and Dana Wynter, a small-town doctor discovers that the residents of his community are being replaced by emotionless, alien duplicates.
