The Indianapolis Public Library is hosting award-winning artist and author Kadir Nelson for their annual McFadden Memorial Lecture.
Nelson has authored and/or illustrated over 30 children’s books, and his work is featured regularly on covers of the New Yorker magazine, postage stamps, and in galleries internationally. Nelson will be speaking about his career and inspirations as an artist and will be signing books after the event.
