In conjunction with the installation A Room by Sopheap Pich, this workshop will explore bookbinding and journaling. Participants will create blank journals using three different book structures, including accordion books, piano hinge binding, and traditional stab bindings utilizing materials that tie into the Cambodian background of Pich. Participants will spend time sketching in their journals directly from the gallery installation.
