In this workshop we will learn about foraging for natural materials, how to make natural dyes from organic materials, and how to apply the foraged materials and natural dyes into a painting. All materials are included in the workshop.
This is an adult workshop to learn how I develop my paintings. All materials are provided for each student and are included in your purchased ticket. Each student receives a DIY Jar (large) and all materials, watercolor paper, collage materials, and natural dyes. We will go through a recipe on making natural dyes from any type of organic material from spices, fall leaves to fruits and flowers. Each student will leave with a step-by-step worksheet for processing organic materials into dyes.
