Indianapolis based guitarist Charlie Ballantine has a sound all to his own while blending traditions of jazz, folk, and rock music.
Described by Vintage Guitar Magazine as “a young player to watch,” Ballantine’s two current albums, Cold Coffee and Life Is Brief: The Music ofBob Dylan have earned him worldwide acclaim from JAZZIZ Magazine, All About Jazz, and many others. Ballantine has performed at the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, The Elkhart Jazz Festival, The Indianapolis Jazz Festival, Andy’s Jazz Club in Chicago, and Cliff Bell’s in Detroit.
