Have you been thinking of putting together your poems or flash fiction into a chapbook but aren’t sure where to start? Are you unsure of what a chapbook is or what to do with one once you’ve put it together? Come to the Compiling Your Chapbook workshop and you will get answers to these questions and so much more. We will explore themes (explicit and implicit) for your work, ways to order your work, the ideal number of pieces to include, and we’ll discuss ideas for publishing and marketing your chapbook manuscript when you’re ready. If you don’t feel you have enough themed work, come anyway and we’ll brainstorm ideas. This is your opportunity to learn from a poet who has been fortunate to have five chapbooks, a co-authored volume of poetry, and a volume of poetry published so far, and who is working towards compiling more.
